How The New Computer Mouse Can Be Worn As A Ring

By Richard Hollins

You really have to wonder what inventions they are going to come up with next? A Taiwanese firm has just released a computer mouse that fits on your finger like a ring. You can then use this small device to control the pointer on your screen. The Genius Ring Mouse should be very big despite being such a small gadget if early signs are anything to go by.

This fantastic device benefits from fantastic new technology which was not available a few years ago. Of the people who have actually tried this new device out, most of them have admitted that they only now realise how inconvenient our standard computer mouse is. It might be the case that we are all using this new device in a couple of years.

Because we have become used to our standard mouse over the decades, it will take a while to get used to this new device. Once you get the hang of it though, the Genius Ring Mouse is easy to use and just seems to work better than the standard mouse. An optical track pad is used for navigation using your thumb.

The pointer is then controlled when the mouse sends a wireless signal to the computer. To make it possible for us to carry out all the other functions that the standard mouse allows us to do, the Genius Ring Mouse also has a tiny left and right button. This device is claimed to be highly sensitive by the makers and those who have already tried it, tend to agree.

I for one am already sold on the idea of the Genius Ring Mouse in case you hadn't guessed. I love it when designers find new ways of improving old technology.

I think that in just a few short years this new mouse will be extremely popular and may even have replaced the standard mouse that we have today.
