Apple Notebook Computers

Apple notebook computers have become quite an appealing option for most portable computer users. The technical specifics of these products meet the requirements and satisfy the tastes of large categories of customers. Light weight, good screen size, processor performance level are just a few of the elements that make people buy Apple notebooks.

The history of Apple notebooks begins back in 1989, that is twenty years ago, when the initial models were on the verge of complete failure. First of all, the original model of Apple notebooks – the Macintosh Portable – was incredibly heavy. It weighed around about sixteen pounds, had a 9.8” matrix screen and it looked rather bulky. It came with a pre-installed operating system and was one of the first models ever to offer that.

Despite the normal imperfection, it still provided something that today’s portable computers lack: battery length of up to ten hours before recharge was needed. Yet, it needed as much power when in use as it did when in sleep mode, which again was presented as a disadvantage. The cost of the model at the time of its release ranged around $6,500, it had a processing unit of 16 MHz, 1 MB RAM, 256 KB ROM, and so on. The features, of course, are pretty outdated, most likely someone would have a model of this device only as a collection piece.

On the other hand, there is the latest model of Apple notebooks, the MacBook Pro released in October this year (2008). It utterly surprises with its lightweight and high portability level. The very thin aspect comes from the use of a single piece of carved metal that replaced the several pieces previously used for assembling. These Apple notebooks also offer a 15-inch display which is back-lit by a LED impressing with the brightness that it renders to the user’s eye.

As for what the graphics is concerned, the Apple team claim this is the best possible offer they can come up with for gamers; users can now enjoy the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M processor for every day use or change to the other one, the NVIDIA 9600M GT, with a high speed mode and more precise in terms of graphics coping with the demands of modern game playing. All in all, the new Apple notebooks make quite a breakthrough in terms of many characteristics and this new model is one of the most advantageous choices available for mobile professionals and more.

Do you know the 3 Early Warning Signs of Windows Registry Problems?

The majority of PC users and owners have no idea what the Windows registry is. They think it's some new kind of gift registry Microsoft is running, when in fact it's the central nervous system of anyones PC that is running Windows 95 or newer.

Ok, so my PC has a registry, what does that mean to me?

While few people know it, many major issues with software, slow start up time, and crashes can be caused by errors in the windows registry. In this article I'm going to cover three warning signs that it's time to consider a registry cleaner to scan, repair, and remove any data in your Windows registry that could be causing problems.

One: Slow Boot Up

Does your computer seem to take fifteen minutes to boot up? If so there's a good chance that you either need to modify your startup folder in Windows, or you've got some issues with one of the programs that's supposed to start up.

These problems could very well be registry related. If you feel it takes to long for your computer to boot up then I suggest you take a moment to read this review of Registry Easy and download their free scan tool.

Two: Crashing for Programs Freezing

If you notice that your PC is freezing or worse, crashing when ever you're using a particular program or group of programs there's a chance that there's a registry error related to that program(s).

Most software when it's installed makes a modification to the registry system.if some how a registry key value was deleted, or modified either manually or by spyware or another piece of software this could cause your computer to freeze on occasion or worse crash.

If you're having difficult with this then I urge your to run a free scan on your system with a registry cleaner that offers a free scan tool.

Three: Slow Running

Does it feel like an hour for you to do anything on your PC?I'm not just talking about start up time but rather when you try to open a new program or switch between windows.Slow reaction time in Windows can be related to the registry and several other system faults.

I'm not suggesting that the only reason for slow response time in Windows is registry errors, there are other issues that can arise.Since you are able to download a free scan tool from a company like Registry Easy it makes sense to start with your registry first to diagnose the problem.
